#DearNoah, you certainly had a mind of your own!

dear Noah2

One of the most difficult things in life is to keep doing the right thing even when the whole world thinks you’re crazy.

We most certainly want to gravitate towards the multitude and their opinion. Nobody wants to be the odd one out. We want to go with the flow and not swim against the tide. However, nothing great ever comes from doing life this way. Nothing.

It takes a person with a strong character and a mind of their own to ignore the discordant voices out there and stick with their conviction.

Noah was one of such.

The whole world (literally!) thought he was bonkers. They weren’t expecting any rain. And even if it did rain it was simply going to water the earth and not sweep away every living thing. So they laughed, scoffed and went about their business as usual.

But Noah kept building. Historians believe it must have taken Noah about 75 to 100 years to finish the ark. And all that time, they laughed and never believed Noah. Not for one moment. But the rains did come. The flood came and the rest is history!

Read Genesis 6 and 7 for the full story.

What absolute truth are you holing on to that seems like foolishness to everyone around you? Do not expect them to understand. Stick with it and the last laugh will certainly be yours!

Keep Going!

Cheers!
